Seoul has the perfect mix of history, culture, the arts and nature. Imagine skyscrapers, hanok villages, mountains, great restaurants, cute cafés and of course lots of shops and street food stalls.  It is a really photogenic destination and there plenty of instagrammable places in Seoul.

LINE Store

Brimming with an immense galore of LINE merchandise up for grabs, the LINE store at Ehwa definitely comes in at the top of our list of cute places in Seoul. Be sure to drop by this Instagram-worthy store when you are shopping in Ehwa, especially since it is only a short distance from the main fashion street. This place is virtual reality-come-true with the LINE characters from your chat app morphing into irresistible keepsakes.

The most arresting feature of this store is the quaint brick wall that hits all the right notes in the visuals department, displaying rows of Brown bears dressed in a plethora of outfits. And if you cannot get enough of the charm of this store, there is a little booth in which more LINE plushies await to greet you. This has got to be the epitome of cuteness, hands down.

Hapjeong Station

The next hidden photo spot in Seoul is Hapjeong. Located just north of the Han river in Mapo-Gu. These colourful umbrellas can be found between exit 9 and exit 10. Hapjeong is a new up and coming area, perfect for the ‘hipster’ crowd. The streets are filled with quirky coffee shops, restaurants and small boutiques. Hapjeong even has it is own cafe street, running between Hapjeong station and Sangsu station. Even though Hapjeong lies just next to Hongdae, it is a much quieter area perfect for a relaxing night out.

Ihwa Mural Village

Tucked in a secluded area, this humble yet extraordinary residential area is worth the trek up Naksan Mountain, it is a tourist paradise where modernity and tradition meld into a harmonious concoction. We were surprised to find shops selling intricate costume jewellery, a plenitude of souvenirs, and even a few cafes brewing the whole range of coffee beverages.

Be dressed in your best, you will definitely want to look as gorgeous as the hand-painted murals which are pure artistry. When you travel to the village, you can also enjoy the tranquillity of this place away from the bustle of the city.

Namsan Tower

Namsan tower is Seoul’s first tower-like attraction spot. The tower being 480m was the tallest tower of Seoul until Lotte tower was built. There is a hiking trail that starts at the bottom of Namsan tower just next to the cable car. The hike only takes around 30 minutes. Visiting Namsan tower is definitely one of the top 10 things to do in Seoul.

StyleNanda Pink Pool Café – Pink Hotel

One of the most Instagram worthy cafes in Seoul is the StyleNanda Pink Pool Cafe in Myeongdong. The whole place just screams to be photographed from coffee with a cotton candy cloud to bath tubs filled with flowers.

So next to being photogenic, what can you actually do at StyleNanda? Well, even though it is a “hotel”, it is not really a hotel (can you still follow?). It is a themed shop and there are “hotel rooms” with beds, but these are merely the fitting rooms. So, in the end you cannot spend the night here but you can buy food, drinks and clothes. And take lots of pretty photos.
